Meet Varun

This is built from the perspective of an active salesperson, using the same Growth Engine Model™ and methods we use in the market today to find and win high value business. You are not sitting through theory, you are building your own plan as you go.

 

Why learn from Varun

This is not theory from someone who has never had to win a deal. At the height of the 2008 financial crisis, Varun helped start a technology distribution business from scratch, with no revenue, no systems and no big brands, up against a public company that had deeper pockets and every advantage. Over twelve years that business grew to NZ$250 million in annual sales and expanded into Australia, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam, all privately owned out of New Zealand. Today it turns over more than NZ$400 million a year.

Varun led the sales effort, built the team, built the sales divisions and put in the systems and processes so the team could win. In 2021 he left to start Synergy Consulting and now works alongside other companies that want to grow, bringing the practical, no-fluff sales behaviours he knows work because he has used them himself. You get someone who will stand shoulder to shoulder with your sales team, not a lecturer who has never made a cold call.
